History of nursing/teaching expertise:

- 7 years an acute hospital setting, specialising in palliation, oncology and complex wound management
- 7 years teaching nursing in a tertiary sector, as well as delivering a certificate to VCAL and VETiS students
- 2 years as a school nurse working with students who had mental health issues and/or exposed to trauma
- 2 years as a community nurse working in people’s homes and delivering personalised care

Nicole has her Bachelor in Nursing, Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary), Diploma of Teaching and Assessment, Certificate IV in Massage Therapy, has a current Youth Mental Health First Aid certificate as well as her general First Aid certificate.  Nicole is a registered member of AHPRA (professional body governing nursing registration), a current member of the ANMF (Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation), and a member of VIT (Victorian Institute of Teaching).
